How to start live streaming with PRIME!
1. Set up Flash Encoder
* From the PRIME! Dashboard menu, click "Live Streaming". (Link)
* Click "Get Flash Encoder" for either Windows or Mac. Download the free Adobe Flash Encoder and install it onto your computer.
* Right-click the "Get Your Encoder Settings" button and click "Save link as..." to download the PRIME! settings file (prime_settings.xml).
* Open Flash Encoder. From the File menu, click "Open Profile". Choose the PRIME! settings file (prime_settings.xml) in your Downloads folder.
2. Start your stream
* Connect your webcam and/or microphone.
* Open Flash Encoder and click the Start button to begin streaming.
3. Broadcast!
* From the PRIME! Dashboard menu, click "Live Streaming". (Link)
* This is your broadcast control room. You have two TV monitors, one showing your playlist of prerecorded videos and one showing your live stream.
* Click the "Stream Actions" button above your live stream monitor and select "Make Active". Your stream is now broadcasting live to the world!
* When you're finished your live stream, click the "Stream Actions" button above the Playlist TV monitor and select "Make Active". Your station will now return to its lineup of prerecorded videos.
